Lisa Olivia Munn is a native of Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese heritage, yet her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. The couple split when she was only the age of two. Her mother raised her and her stepfather, who is a United States Air Force officer. Although the family departed Oklahoma and lived in a variety of locations, she was mainly educated in Tokyo, Japan. During this time she was a part of a number of local theater productions. Later, she was a model for the Japanese fashion business. Olivia left the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dream of becoming an actor. In the end, she was able to land a couple of minor roles on TV series featuring Hawaii lense (such like Beyond the Break), she won the role Mily Acuna and landed the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". Since the 2006 television show Beyond the Break, she has continued to surf. She is also a black-belt in Taekwondo. Her mother got married at the age of two years old, to an Air Force officer. Although the family relocated many times throughout her life, she was born at Tokyo, Japan, where the military stationed her stepfather. Attending the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors of Japanese and drama art.
