Lita Rossana Ford, also called Lita Ford, is an American musician, singer and guitarist who was born in Britain. She was a lead guitarist in The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all girls in late 1970s. Their punk rock music and provocative lyrics helped them get recognized by the rock world. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both became big hits. The popularity of her was brief, and she went under the radar for several years. In 1995, she dropped 'Black' and 15 years later 'Wicked Wonderland. In 2016, she released her most recent studio album "Time Capsule". Guitar Player Magazine presented her with the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
