Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie is the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she was 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir, a Icelandic weightlifter who also is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. She became famous for becoming the first female to win taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She also won Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her family. She was a keen sportsperson and was active from an early age. In 2009, she took part for the first time in a CrossFit game in California. Her performance was very good at those events. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (as at 2021). She is 5' 7" tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing in the top 10. Although she did not win any title but she did finish in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. In the following year she took part in her second CrossFit games and because of her dominant performance she won the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie took home the CrossFit Games because of her remarkable performance. She was the first woman to win was able to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal and then in 2021 was the last time she took home the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie runs and coaches for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has appeared as a spokesperson many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick among others. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie", with over 3,500 users. These include videos on eating habits for training and life with family.
