Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. In 1964, she signed with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
