David Muir, an American journalist, anchoring the ABC News magazine 20 years old, is most well-known as the co-anchor of World News Tonight With David Muir. With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity chatter, his program has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning series. In the years before his appointment as ABC World News Tonight's anchor Sawyer was his main successor. He has reported numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He has reported on news across the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to awards from The Associated Press.
