Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite popular. Sara Ramirez was brought up by her American mother and encountered a number of racial slurs that caused her to feel uncomfortable. She began to gain confidence during the 9th grade, when she entered a school audition. She was praised by the judges for her vocal ability. This experience did not just help her gain confidence but changed her outlook on life. When she was 22, she was able to graduate from in the Julliard School of New York. At the age of 23 she began her career making her debut at the Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. Her biggest break came with her performance as The Lady of The Lake, in the first Broadway production of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great reviews for her role. The following year, she was cast as the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. As a well-known singer, she released her own single and an extended show. In addition, she's an activist who works hard for LGBT rights.
